Honeydew melons have a high water content of approximately 90 percent, which is only slightly lower than that of watermelon. They’re an excellent source of potassium and vitamin C, as well as a good source of vitamin A. The honeydew is also rich in the B vitamin thiamine, and provides beneficial amounts of vitamin B6, niacin and pantothenic acid, in addition to the minerals calcium, magnesium and copper.

Melons are packaged in breathable transparent bags allowing them to stay fresh while in storage and also limits human interaction which helps to prevent against food contamination.
