The hunt for Canada's next One Horse Town is about to begin. Last year, the quaint town of Lacombe, AB was crowned Canada's One Horse Town, earning itself a legendary concert experience featuring Tim Hicks and the Roadhammers. This year, Coors Banquet has returned, upping the ante with nine-time CCMA winner Dean Brody.

The contest, which officially opens on April 11, asks residents in towns across the country to submit a picture sharing their small town spirit with Coors Banquet via social media. Following the nomination period, submitted towns will be narrowed down to six finalists, before Canadians vote for the one small town that will receive this once in a lifetime country music event.

"Brewed exclusively in Golden, Colorado, a town of 20,000 people, Coors Banquet takes immense pride in our small town heritage. Through One Horse Town we connect with residents of small towns across Canada to celebrate the pride we all have for our communities," says Nicole Wolff, Marketing Manager, Coors Banquet. "This year we wanted to build upon the amazing experience we had last year in Lacombe, Alberta, and reward the truly hard working and passionate people who live in small towns across Canada."

This year, 2016 JUNO Fan Choice and Country Album of the Year nominee Dean Brody will be joined by fellow top Canadian country music artists Chad Brownlee and River Town Saints at One Horse Town. Coors Banquet will bring fans closer to this exciting country music experience by once again partnering with CMT. CMT will be live on location filming the One Horse Town concert experience and will use the footage to produce three TV concert specials to air in late 2016.

"Being from a small town in BC, I grew up having to drive to see my favourite artists, and only dreamt of having them perform in my hometown," says Dean Brody, Canadian country artist from Jaffray, British Columbia, a town of 810 people. "This is why I couldn't be more excited to bring a one-of-a-kind country music experience to a small town like the one I grew up in."
