IGA Great Food Giveaway Contest! - IGA reveals the grand prize winner of groceries for 25 years!

The IGA banner and its grocers are pleased to announce that Mrs. Estelle Sénécal-McMahon from Rawdon will be receiving free groceries for the next 25 years. She is in good company along with 50 other winners who received gift cards worth one year of free groceries in the IGA Great Food Giveaway Contest that ran from February 7 until April 6, 2016.

From Gatineau to Port-Cartier
Though the grand winner hails from Lanaudière, the contest spread to all regions of Quebec. Most of the winners live in the Quebec City region, Gaspésie-Île-de-la-Madeleine, the Laurentians, Montérégie, Montreal, and Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.

Close to $400,000 in free groceries          
For a chance to win a prize, customers were invited to show their AIR MILES® card at the checkout in order to receive one automatic entry for every $10 they had spent. By awarding an impressive prize of 25 years of free groceries, this new formula and the contest itself have undoubtedly set a precedent in the Quebec grocery business.

Over the last six weeks, gift cards worth close to $400,000 have been awarded. We warmly congratulate Mrs. Sénécal-McMahon and all the other weekly winners!
