Johnny Rockets Is Coming To Canada

Johnny Rockets, the all-American restaurant, known for its cooked-to-order hamburgers and hand-spun shakes, announces a 40-restaurant master agreement in Canada with franchise partner Lewis Gelmon. Some locations are scheduled to open as soon as the end of 2016. Gelmon has worked with numerous American brands in the Canadian franchise market, utilizing the country's people-centric management style, including the Canadian master franchisee for Domino's Pizza.

The agreement was prompted, in large part, due to a strong Johnny Rockets brand awareness in Canada, as many residents encounter the restaurants when they travel to the U.S. for both business and leisure. Also, according to a recent NPD report, Canadians are collectively gravitating towards higher quality burgers.
