For the last 12 months, a team of M&M'S chocolate scientists have been hard at work perfecting the recipe. Each piece combines the ideal ratio of creamy milk chocolate, M&M'S minis milk chocolate candies and, in four of the varieties, other crunchy pieces, ensuring a fun and tasty crunch in every bite. A lot of science went into the bar dimensions, not only by making sure the consumer receives the chocolate bars intact but also making sure it's easy for them to break off a piece and enjoy!
After the recipe and bar design planning, the process didn't stop there! The chocolate scientists worked with processing and engineers to make sure the product was made to look as good as it tastes. They continue to make sure the chocolate bar meets the highest quality standards through extensive visual and taste checks.
"Canadians have come to expect the unexpected from M&M'S," says Diana Frost, Marketing Director, Mars Wrigley Confectionery. "With the launch of our new chocolate bar, we're delighting them again.
