TORONTO -- The future of flavour is in Canadians' hands: for the first time, the M&M'S brand is asking Canadians to help choose its next Crunchy Flavour.

The M&M'S brand is launching three new, limited-edition flavours as part of its Flavour Vote campaign: Crunchy Espresso, Crunchy Raspberry and Crunchy Mint. The new flavours are on sale at select retailers across the country and fans can cast a vote for their favourite once a day until May 25. This is the first time Canadians are able to participate in Flavour Vote. Following the outpouring of excitement and impressive number of votes from the first Flavour Vote campaign in the U.S, the second iteration of the contest is now available for the first time to M&M'S fans north of the border. "We heard Canadian M&M'S fans plea to join the flavour vote and take part in the fun of choosing the next crunchy flavour." says Diana Frost, Marketing Director, Mars Wrigley Confectionery. "The three new M&M'S flavours reflect the growing trend of bold tastes popping up across North America and we're giving Canadians a chance to have their say by casting their vote for their favourite." Each new M&M'S flavour is made with dark chocolate and wrapped in the brand's signature colourful crispy shell, offering fans a unique chocolatey crunch in every bite. The Crunchy Raspberry variety features a regular rice crisp center, and the Crunchy Espresso and Crunchy Mint varieties feature a cocoa rice crisp center. The M&M'S brand has made it easy for fans to try all the new flavours and vote for their favourite. Fans can vote by uploading or taking a "selfie" at flavourvote.mms.com, adding stickers to the image representing their favourite flavour, and submitting to the website. They can also share their reactions on social media* with #VoteCrunchyEspresso, #VoteCrunchyRaspberry or #VoteCrunchyMint. Camera shy fans can simply select their favourite flavour on the website. All voters must be Canadian residents ages 13+ to participate. The brand expects Canadians to take part in a friendly competition with an expected sweet ending. The flavour with the most votes will be announced in August 2018 and will become part of M&M'S line up, available at stores nationwide for an 18-month period.
