Fresh out of the oven, the smell of deliciously baked cookies will take over the Family Day Festival at Evergreen Brick Works. In celebration of this provincial commemoration of family and togetherness, Robin Hood will attempt to achieve the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the largest cookie mosaic, all in support of WE Bake for Change, an initiative of WE Day, made possible in Canada by Robin Hood.

Comprised of over 13,000 shortbread cookies and designed to resemble a map of the world – highlighting the countries where WE Bake for Change has made a difference – this mosaic will be assembled by the Robin Hood Baking team and WE Day youth ambassadors. Completely edible, each delicious cookie will be individually wrapped to help counter any food wastage. Once the title is achieved, the gigantic cookie mosaic will be taken apart and shared with attending guests and local food banks.

In its second year of partnership, WE Bake for Change wants to encourage Canadian youth to bake a difference in the lives of families around the globe. Funds raised will help break the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future in developing communities around the world.

Guests will also have the chance to enter to win a once-in-a-lifetime volunteer experience worth $17,000 with WE Bake for Change and ME to WE. The lucky winner and his or her guest will spend seven days immersed in India's vibrant culture and work alongside community members on a development project with ME to WE's Charity Partner, Free The Children.
