The 3rd Annual Food Truck Frenzy features more than 30 food trucks serving up everything from savoury international dishes to decadent desserts, a full range of musical performances, and longer hours on both days of the food festival. This year, the event also showcases 10 local food artisans so foodies can savour delicious food, grown and crafted right here in Durham Region.

"We've taken everything that was great about last year's event and made it even better," said Geno Diraddo, of the Rotary Club of Whitby. "We've got more food trucks than ever before, we've added 10 of the best local food artisans in Durham Region and the first-class entertainment this year will create a fabulous festival atmosphere"

Foodies can enjoy the delicious fare of returning favourites like: Frankie Fettucine, Stuttering John's Smokehouse and the Apple Fritter Factory, and try new food experiences from Caplanski's Deli, Urban Smoke and Melt Down Cheesery. A complete food truck list and developing details are available at www.foodfrenzywhitby.ca.

As in 2015, this year's Food Truck Frenzy is receiving tremendous support from the Durham Region. Proceeds from this Rotary Club of Whitby community event will be given to several local not-for-profit organizations. Corporate sponsors for the 2-day outdoor event include: Nurse Chevrolet Cadillac, Brock St. Brewing Company, Intek Communications and Sobey's.
