It's bigger, better and tastier than ever! The Rotary Club of Whitby's Gourmet Food Truck Frenzy is revving up for its celebration of curbside cuisine taking place on May 14 and 15 at Iroquois Park in Whitby.

The 3rd Annual Food Truck Frenzy features more than 30 food trucks serving up everything from savoury international dishes to decadent desserts, a full range of musical performances, and longer hours on both days of the food festival. This year, the event also showcases 10 local food artisans so foodies can savour delicious food, grown and crafted right here in Durham Region. "We've taken everything that was great about last year's event and made it even better," said Geno Diraddo, of the Rotary Club of Whitby. "We've got more food trucks than ever before, we've added 10 of the best local food artisans in Durham Region and the first-class entertainment this year will create a fabulous festival atmosphere" Foodies can enjoy the delicious fare of returning favourites like: Frankie Fettucine, Stuttering John's Smokehouse and the Apple Fritter Factory, and try new food experiences from Caplanski's Deli, Urban Smoke and Melt Down Cheesery. Proceeds from this Rotary Club of Whitby community event will be given to several local not-for-profit organizations.
